This could be the most significant day for soccer in the United States since 1999.

The United States' golden generation is going to face its toughest test to date as they are set to play England in the second game of the group stage.

England have long been a Goliath in the soccer world, but the US have pulled off upsets against the lads across the pond before. The Stars and Stripes faced England twice in the World Cup and have one win and one tie. The last time these two international squads faced each other in the World Cup was in 2010, which resulted in a 1-1 draw.

The English opened as -140 favorites to win at BetMGM. That line has moved all the way to -210 on the moneyline. Only 20% of the total bets are on England but they account for 39% of the handle.

On the other side of the equation, the United States opened at +500. The moneyline has moved to +600 despite the red, white and blue getting 63% of the total bets. Bets on the US account for 49% of the money.

That leaves the rest of the bets on the draw, which is getting 17% of the tickets and 12% of the handle. That line has moved from +275 to +320.

Most notably, the over has been getting hammered by bettors. Over 2.5 goals (-115) is getting 78% of the bets and 84% of the money.

Bettors are also taking Both Teams to Score (Yes), as that is the most bet prop of the game.

It's clear the betting public believes there's going to be plenty of goals today and they've been betting on one player in particular.

Harry Kane notching a goal at +110 is the second most popular prop for the game.

Could today be the day the young generation for the United States arrives on the international scene? We know what bettors are thinking.
