Awful odds and a tough matchup, but I’ll back Shota here. He owns a career 2.81 ERA now in the Majors through 34 starts, and he’s had some success against the Dodgers in the past (current roster is 9-for-51 off him with 3 HR, 3 RBI and a .176 batting average. He held them to 4 scoreless innings earlier this season. Small sample but Dodgers have been below average this season against lefties (team wRC+ of 81).
