MLB Home Run Picks for June 9

Logan O'Hoppe (+425)
vs Athletics (SP: LHP Jeffrey Springs)

While the A’s haven’t officially announced a starting pitcher, I’m guessing it’ll be Jeffrey Springs, who would be an excellent matchup for Angels catcher Logan O’Hoppe.
Springs has been crushed by right-handed power hitters this season, allowing 1.66 home runs per nine innings pitched to the side behind a massive fly-ball rate.
Meanwhile, O’Hoppe has looked awesome this year, with 14 home runs behind a great fly-ball rate, hard-contact rate, and barrel rate.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +400.

Brent Rooker (+340)
at Angels (SP: LHP Yusei Kikuchi)

Brent Rooker hasn’t been quite the same hitter this season, but his underlying metrics indicate he still has plenty of power.
I like the matchup against Angels starter Yusei Kikuchi, who has struggled against right-handed power hitters in his career, allowing 1.62 home runs per nine innings pitched to the side.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +280.

Ketel Marte (+500)
vs Mariners (SP: RHP Emerson Hancock)

Ketel Marte has been awesome this season, with 12 home runs behind the highest barrel rate of his career.
I like the matchup against Mariners' starting pitcher Emerson Hancock, who has struggled against left-handed power hitters this season, allowing 2.03 home runs per nine innings pitched, largely due to a high fly-ball rate.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +425.
