MLB Home Run Picks for July 24

Header First Logo

Riley Greene (+500)

vs. Blue Jays (SP: LHP Eric Lauer)

Header Trailing Logo

Riley Greene is having a career year, and Thursday is an excellent spot for him.

Blue Jays starter Eric Lauer is a splits-neutral pitcher against power hitters. He’s only allowed 0.49 HR/9 to left-handed hitters this season, but he’s due for some serious negative regression (3.7% HR/FB).

The weather is expected to be favorable for hitting, with temperatures in the low 90s during game time.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop closer to +450.

Brent Rooker (+350)

at Astros (SP: RHP Jason Alexander)

Header Trailing Logo

Astros starter Jason Alexander hasn’t pitched much in the Majors, but he’s been bad this season and seems to be a plus-matchup for right-handed power hitters.

Brent Rooker is among the best right-handed power hitters in baseball, and these odds are excellent.

Julio Rodriguez (+425)

at Angels (SP: LHP Yusei Kikuchi)

Header Trailing Logo

Julio Rodriguez is having a tough season, but the power is still there, and Thursday is a good spot for him to re-find his power swing.

Angels starter Yusei Kikuchi has been better at limiting power this season, but he’s still allowing 1.31 HR/9 to right-handed hitters — historically, he’s been shelled by right-handed power hitters.

I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +400.
