MLB Home Run Picks for June 12

Juan Soto (+400)
vs Nationals (SP: RHP Mike Soroka)

Juan Soto is among the hottest hitters in baseball, and he has an excellent matchup on Thursday.
Nationals starting pitcher Mike Soroka has been crushed by left-handed power hitters this season, allowing a ridiculous 2.14 home runs per nine innings pitched against the side.
The weather should be hitter-friendly in Queens, with high-80s temperatures and double-digit winds blowing out.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +325.

Jake Burger (+450)
at Twins (SP: LHP Patrick Corbin)

Jake Burger has been hitting well lately, and he has another good matchup on Thursday.
Twins starting pitcher Bailey Ober has been better at suppressing power hitters this season, but he’s due for some negative regression, and he’s allowed 1.57 home runs per nine innings pitched to righties in his career.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +375.

Brenton Doyle (+525)
vs Giants (SP: RHP Hayden Birdsong)

We don’t have a considerable sample size on Giants starting pitcher Hayden Birdsong. Still, he’s been crushed by right-handed power hitters in his short career, allowing 1.51 home runs per nine innings pitched to the side despite playing in a super pitcher-friendly ballpark.
Well, Coors Field is a massive downgrade for Birdsong, and the weather should be great for hitting at Mile High on Thursday.
Brenton Doyle has some decent power, and given the spot, these odds are far too high.

Spencer Torkelson (+525)
at Orioles (SP: RHP Dean Kremer)

Thursday is an excellent spot for Spencer Torkelson, and the odds don’t reflect that.
Orioles starting pitcher Dean Kremer is an average matchup for right-handed power hitters, but he’s a fly-ball pitcher, and the ball should be flying in Baltimore during game time. Temperatures are expected to be in the low 90s, with a slight wind blowing out.
I make the fair odds on this home run prop around +400.
