These winds will clearly have an effect on scoring and savvy bettors have historically taken advantage of this situation.
Since 2005, games played at Wrigley with winds of at least 5 mph blowing in have resulted in unders going 227-144-18 for a 61.2% win rate.
When those winds reach double-digits, unders are even better at 65.1%. And as we know from the weather forecast, winds should easily surpass the 10-mph mark tonight.
