Blue Jays vs Angels MLB Betting Preview
Sorry. I’m not buying it with Jose Soriano.
He is a quality starting pitcher. He is not a Cy Young candidate. He still walks too many batters (11% rate), and if it weren’t for his .149 BABIP and 100% strand rate, his ERA would be sitting closer to three or four — projections place him with around a 3.60 ERA for the remainder of the season.
I think he’s due for a blowup start, while I believe the Blue Jays are starting to find their stride on offense. This lineup is too talented to struggle this mightily for the remainder of the season.

Blue Jays vs Angels Pick, Betting Analysis
My numbers give the Blue Jays advantages in the bullpen, on defense, and on the base paths.
As a result, I actually project Toronto as a favorite in this game.
Our own Sean Zerillo projects the Blue Jays closer to +115, so I’m willing to take a shot with the Jays at +120 or better.
Pick: Blue Jays ML (+120 or Better)
