2021 Daytona 500 Odds: Denny Hamlin, Chase Elliott Favored at Start of Speedweeks

Shake off those Super Bowl hangovers because NASCAR's biggest race, the Daytona 500, is less than one week away!
This week (known as "Speedweeks" among race fans) is absolutely loaded, starting with the Busch Clash on Tuesday, followed by Daytona 500 qualifying on Wednesday, the Bluegreen Vacations Duel on Thursday, the Truck Series' NextEra Energy 250 on Friday, the XFINITY Series' Beef. It's What's For Dinner. 300 on Saturday and finally the Daytona 500 on Sunday.
With Cup Series cars hitting the track for tomorrow night's Busch Clash on the Daytona Roval, let's take an updated look at Daytona 500 odds to set the table for the week ahead.

Daytona 500 Odds Notes
Many bettors, including yours truly, have already gotten down on Denny Hamlin, and for good reason.
Hamlin has won back-to-back Daytona 500s, and three of the past five as well.
The driver of the Joe Gibbs Racing No. 11 Toyota, who opened at 8-1 at the Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas back in November, is down to 7-1 at DraftKings Sportsbook.
Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Chase Elliott is next on the board, and the only other driver listed with single-digit odds at 9-1.
The Team Penske drivers, Ryan Blaney, Brad Keselowski and Joey Logano, round out the top five with all three checking in at 11-1.
The 2021 Daytona 500 also includes the return of 2010 winner Jamie McMurray, who is available at 50-1.
