76ers vs. Celtics 3-Point Prop: Paul George
It is Paul George's 36th birthday today. Let's celebrate by hoping he continues to see a high volume of long range shot attempts in Game 7 tonight.
Our Action PRO Projections are aligned with a PG birthday bash. We are projecting George for 2.76 three-pointers made tonight, which is showing value on over 2.5 at plus-money.
After a tentative start to the series where he only managed 1-of-2 and 2-of-5 from deep in the first two games, the Sixers have completely unleashed George.
He has now knocked down 3+ triples in four straight games, and more impressively, he has cleared 4+ makes in three of those contests.
The shot volume is the most encouraging part of this handicap; George has let it fly to the tune of 9 three-point attempts per game over the last two outings.
In a win-or-go-home Game 7, expect the Sixers to lean into PG's efficiency to space the floor for Joel Embiid and Co.
Pick: Paul George Over 2.5 Three-Pointers Made (+110)
76ers vs. Celtics 3-Point Prop: Jaylen Brown
While the spotlight has been on Jayson Tatum’s status after he left Game 6 with "leg stiffness," the real value tonight lies with Jaylen Brown.
Our Action PRO Projections have Brown pegged for 2.2 made three-pointers tonight, providing a solid cushion against the market line of 1.5.
Even if Tatum is active—which is the expectation in Boston—he appeared to re-aggravate his calf injury late in Game 6.
Whether it’s purely precautionary or a nagging ailment, the Celtics will likely need Brown to shoulder a much heavier offensive workload than he has the last few games.
Even while struggling to find a consistent shooting rhythm this series, Brown has still been reliable at this specific number, hitting 2+ three-pointers in four of the six games played so far.
He is easily the most explosive weapon on the floor for Boston when Tatum is limited, and his willingness to attack early in the clock usually leads to high-quality perimeter looks.
If Tatum isn't at 100%, Brown becomes the definitive No. 1 option for the Celtics in the half-court, so we expect him to clear this low bar of just two triples in Game 7 tonight.
