The NBA Playoffs are underway, and the opening games are already living up to the hype. Today, the Philadelphia 76ers (7) visit TD Garden to take on the Boston Celtics (2).

In a game as meaningful as this one, we aren't just looking for standard lines — we’re looking for the "ceiling" performances. That’s where the ladder pick comes in. If you think a player might go way over their line, you bet their standard over, then "ladder" up into alternate territories (25+, 30+, 35+) for a higher payout.

Today, I'm targeting the 76ers' offense focal point: Tyrese Maxey.

NBA Alternate Line Props: Our +260 Bet for 76ers-Celtics Today

  • Tyrese Maxey Over 32.5 Points + Assists (-114)
  • Tyrese Maxey to Score 30 Points (+154)
  • Tyrese Maxey 40+ Points + Assists (+260)

Tyrese Maxey Prop Ladder

Tyrese Maxey isn’t all alone, but there’s reason to question how much help he’ll actually have against the Celtics.

The speedy superstar will not have Joel Embiid by his side, but will unquestionably log big minutes while attempting to drive Philly to an upset with VJ Edgecombe and Paul George by his side.

This, for me, is a volume spot. I’m not sure how efficient Maxey will be, but we know he should get a ton of minutes, as he has all season, with increased usage.

He averaged 38 minutes this season, logging 42 in the play-in against Orlando. I played him Over 32.5 points plus assists.

Here’s how I’d sprinkle on a small ladder, riding this play further, below. The last could also be 35 or more points, but obviously just a tiny amount.

Fonseca's Tyrese Maxey Ladder for Today

  • Tyrese Maxey Over 32.5 Points + Assists (-114)
  • Tyrese Maxey to Score 30 Points (+154)
  • Tyrese Maxey 40+ Points + Assists (+260)
