The New York Knicks blew the Philadelphia 76ers away in Game 1 and benefited from well-rounded scoring en route to a 137-98 blowout. Jalen Brunson led the way with 35 points, but supporting players also did more than enough offensively to help New York pull away.

We'll focus on Mikal Bridges here, though.

Bridges averaged 7.2 points per game through his first five playoff games this season, but has rebounded in a major way since then.

The 3-and-D wing is now up to 11.0 points per game in the postseason after scoring 24 and 17 points, respectively, in his last two outings. He appears to have found this rhythm just in time for the second round.

Bridges is having a down year offensively with his lowest scoring average (14.4 points per game) since the 2021-22 season, but he averaged 16.0 points through four regular-season meetings with the 76ers this year.

The former Brooklyn Nets' shot volume is down, but he has tallied at least 10 field goal attempts in back-to-back contests while converting his 3-pointers at a 71.4% rate.

It's unlikely that he'll maintain that level of efficiency, but the Villanova alum seems energized and inspired with another chance to take down his hometown team on the table.

The Minnesota Timberwolves shocked the world by taking down the San Antonio Spurs in Game 1, and Anthony Edwards helped power his team to victory despite his nagging knee injury.

The superstar guard was initially expected to miss weeks after suffering a bone bruise and knee hyperextension in Round 1 of the playoffs, but returned in just nine days.

Edwards was on a minute restriction and logged 25 minutes in a tight contest, but did contribute some much-needed buckets in the final frame in Game 1 to help his team pull away. However, Minnesota will likely keep a close eye on his workload to avoid worsening his condition throughout the series.

San Antonio is a 10.5-point favorite ahead of Game 2, and there's no reason for Edwards to play meaningless minutes down the stretch if the game is out of reach and Minnesota has already managed to steal one on the road.

Victory Wembanyama and De'Aaron Fox aren't likely to shoot a combined 10-for-31 from the field in a second straight contest, and bounce-back performances from them could affect Edwards' role in Game 2 significantly.

Action PRO projects Edwards for just 17.6 points tonight.

Edwards was only averaging 23.0 points per game this postseason before getting hurt against the Denver Nuggets while playing 33.9 minutes per contest.

He's unlikely to eclipse 30 minutes on Wednesday against one of the league's most well-equipped defenses.

Picks: Anthony Edwards Under 21.5 Points (-128)
