Knicks vs Mavericks NBA Preview

The Knicks are still in search of a road win.

In their defense, they've played most of their games at Madison Square Garden this season. But still, they're 0-4 on the road.

Dallas is the worst team the Knicks have seen on the road so far, as New York plays the second leg of a five-game road trip.

Overall, the Heat loss on Monday notwithstanding, they've looked as advertised — different, talented, flawed, and contenderish.

The Mavericks have not seen a bump since firing Nico Harrison last week. They're just 1-3 since. And Dallas, who is 4-11 this season, is just 3-7 at home.

Injury-wise, OG Anunoby (hamstring strain) is the only for sure absence out of the Orange and Blue.

Jalen Brunson has been listed as questionable after missing Monday's game due to an ankle sprain suffered this past Friday against the Heat.

Dallas will not have Anthony Davis (calf strain), Kyrie Irving (knee) and Dante Exum (knee), but Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively are both probable.

Knicks vs Mavericks Prediction, Betting Analysis

Back to ol' faithful: Mitchell Robinson over 7.5 rebounds.

I'm just gonna keep playing this line regardless of who is out there. Dallas allows the second-most boards per 100 possessions.

Now, in their defense, they have both Lively and Gafford tonight. Lively has played only five times, Gafford just nine, and they've played together only twice this year.

The most similar rebounder they've played to Robinson was Donovan Clingan, who pulled down 11 in 28 minutes as Portland outrebounded Dallas 53-47.

Robinson is over 7.5 boards in five straight and has gotten 10 or more in three of five.

He still hasn't played 20 minutes this year, and you're hoping he stays out of foul trouble, but as long as he's out there for at least 15-18 minutes, he'll get within range.

Robinson has 40 offensive rebounds in 115 minutes — he's averaging one offensive rebound in just under every three minutes he plays.

He has 63 total boards, which gives him 0.55 boards per minute. Ridiculous.

Pick: Mitchell Robinson Over 7.5 Rebounds (-140) | 10+ Rebounds (+194)
