Alabama not only moves the needle in football, but the Crimson Tide have become a notable basketball opponent, too.
Every night they play, they have been one of the marquee games. That's no different on Wednesday night as the Crimson Tide travel to Gainesville to take on the Florida Gators.
No. 15 Alabama is 10-3 on the season and came up with a huge win over No. 18 Tennessee to open SEC play. They have losses to Iona, Memphis and Dayton but have also beaten some very good teams, including No. 4 Gonzaga and No. 12 Houston.
Florida is 9-3 and has yet to open up conference play. They have respectable losses to Maryland and Oklahoma but one very puzzling loss to Texas Southern — a game in which they lost by 15. However, they have two wins against teams in the top 50 on KenPom in Florida State and Ohio State.
