The tip-off of the college basketball season always brings some heavyweight matchups. Last night, we were gifted with an overtime thriller between No. 2 UCLA and No. 4 Villanova.
It should be a tough act to follow, but if No. 1 Gonzaga vs. No. 5 Texas can be anything similar, it would be an incredible start to the college basketball season.
The Bulldogs come into tonight’s game as the No. 1 team in the country despite losing three out of five starters from last season’s team that lost in the national championship.
