Welcome to our weekly College Football Havoc Rankings, where the volatility of offenses and defenses is graded for potential wagering.

Indiana continues to lead the nation in Defensive Havoc after an escape from Kinnick Stadium against Iowa. The Hoosiers lead the nation by far in tackles for loss, racking up 49 through five games.

For those new to this column, Havoc is the collection of stats that can derail offensive momentum from the defensive side of the ball, including tackles for loss, pass breakups, forced fumbles, interceptions and sacks.

Havoc allowed, meanwhile, is a stat used to quantify an offense's ability to avoid the chaos that creates a negative play. Offenses that are elite in Havoc allowed have a low number of fumbles, interceptions and tackles for loss.

While Indiana leads the nation from a defensive perspective, the Oregon offense has become the most disciplined team in FBS from a Havoc allowed perspective.

Let's take a look at our college football picks and Week 6 Havoc Rankings for the upcoming week.

Defensive Havoc: Memphis 11th · Tulsa 80th
Havoc Allowed: Memphis 89th  · Tulsa 91st

With a win over Florida Atlantic, Memphis head coach Ryan Silverfield is in a solid position to get the Tigers to the American Conference Championship.

The Tigers have one of the easiest remaining strength of schedules in the conference, starting with a Liberty Bowl night game against Tulsa.

Quarterback Brendon Lewis has changed the Memphis offense from a heavy pass unit to more of an RPO ground attack with running backs Sutton Smith and Greg Desrosiers Jr.

The highly successful inside zone read attack should have no issues against a Tulsa defense that sits outside the top 100 in Line Yards.

Memphis' biggest advantage may come on the defensive side of the ball, ranking 11th of all FBS teams in Havoc.

Tulsa travels to the Liberty Bowl with an offense that struggles with ball discipline, currently sitting 91st in Havoc allowed. The Golden Hurricane rank near dead last in tackles for loss allowed and are bottom-20 of all FBS teams in fumbles lost.

Another negative comes in the passing game with quarterback Baylor Hayes, as Tulsa has struggled to produce any kind of success against man coverage.

Well, Memphis defensive coordinator Jordon Hankins calls man coverage from his 3-3-5 at a higher rate than most teams in FBS.

Our Action Network Betting Power Ratings call for Memphis to be favored by more than three touchdowns, leaving value on the current market to back the Tigers.

Pick: Memphis -19.5
