Minnesota has flown up the College Football Playoff rankings thanks to a 9-0 start and upset of Penn State last weekend as a 6-point underdog.

Now the Gophers are an underdog again? To Iowa?

It may look weird to see No. 8 Minnesota getting points, but that's the case. Our power ratings actually have this spread even larger, at Iowa -5.

Below we're tracking the line movement on Minnesota-Iowa to see where it's headed, and if you should grab the Gophers now or wait until closer to kick to get the best number.

All odds via PointsBet and current as of 10:15 a.m. ET on Saturday.

1:40 p.m. ET: Some Iowa money has shifted the juice on the Hawkeyes to -115 at -3.

10:15 a.m. ET: There's been little movement to report on this game, with the spread still at -3 and the total at 44.5.

8:15 a.m. ET: The market has pretty much reached a consensus of Iowa -3 with a total of 44.5. There isn't a book we're tracking that deviates from those numbers right now.

7 a.m. ET: There isn't much movement to report overnight Friday, with Iowa sticking as a 3-point favorite. The total did go up half a point to 44.5.

Previous Line Movement

This game has seen very little line movement in the days leading up to it.

Iowa opened -3 at Circa Sports in Las Vegas, the first book to put out college football lines on Sunday. Circa went to Iowa -2.5 on Monday afternoon before going back to -3 on Wednesday.

The total has been on a slight downward trend, opening 44.5 and getting to 44 at some books. But most of the market is still hanging 44.5 as of Saturday morning.

What to Like About Minnesota

Minnesota has a dynamic offense, led by quarterback Tanner Morgan and two excellent, future NFL receivers on the outside in Rashod Bateman and Tyler Johnson.

The Gophers are No. 4 nationally in yards per pass attempt, and No. 7 in offensive SP+. Despite a soft schedule outside of the Penn State win, this offense is legit.

What to Like About Iowa

This game will feature strength on strength. Iowa ranks No. 10 in opponent yards per pass attempt, and No. 9 in defensive SP+.

The pass rush hasn't been quite as good as expected, averaging just two sacks per game to rank 73rd nationally. A boost from the defensive line is much needed against a strong Minnesota offensive line.
