New Hampshire Wildcats Betting Preview: 'Cats Primed for Big 'Dog Role

Former New Hampshire QB Sean Goldrich is in his first season with the program as head coach. He most-recently served as Delaware's passing game coordinator and QBs coach, and dazzled. The Blue Hens' passing offense quietly finished No. 7 nationally in yards per game.

The Wildcats dropped the season-opener to Albany, 28-14, but they could be fun if the pieces under Goldrich figure it out. The offense went 10 plays in roughly four minutes for an early touchdown last week. QB Brooks Bentley went 19-of-27 for 230 yards and two scores, while WR Ja'Carree Kelly (6-123-1) made a bunch of splash plays.

The problem last week was New Hampshire's defense giving up 431 yards.

The Wildcats will be up against a sneaky-good quarterback that perhaps some may have forgotten about.

Syracuse Orange Betting Preview: Flashes of Fun

Action's Collin Wilson power rates Syracuse No. 78 in the country.

Syracuse heads into the 2026 season looking to regroup after a disappointing 3-9 finish in Fran Brown’s second year, but there were still signs of what the Orange can become.

Before his season was cut short by a torn Achilles against Clemson, quarterback Steve Angeli was off to a scorching start, leading the nation with 1,317 passing yards through the first four games and giving Syracuse a true offensive spark.

The challenge now is to turn that early momentum into something sustainable over a full season.

That’s where the next steps matter most. Syracuse’s defensive front was overwhelmed for much of 2025, finishing last in the ACC against the run and second-to-last in pass rush production.

The ground game couldn't get anything going, racking up just 3.3 yards per carry. To help stabilize the offense and raise its baseline, Syracuse hired Juan Castillo as offensive line coach, a move aimed at improving protection, consistency and overall physicality up front.
