What better way to kick off a tremendous Black Friday slate than with a Big 12 matchup? The TCU Horned Frogs will head to Norman, Oklahoma, where the 13th-ranked Oklahoma Sooners will be waiting.

TCU got back on track in a big way against Baylor last week, and it's going to need that offensive success to carry over if it wants to hang around in this matchup.

As for the Sooners, they come in winners of two straight and need to come out on top in this game with a Big 12 Championship berth still up for grabs.

So, with the stage set, let's dive into our best bet and odds for the TCU Horned Frogs vs. Oklahoma Sooners.

TCU Horned Frogs

The Horned Frogs offense came to life against the Bears, posting 42 points to break a three-game losing streak. They did nearly all their damage through the air, as Josh Hoover threw for 412 yards.

However, this week may be a very different story. What's allowed Oklahoma to take the leap forward is its defense.

In particular, the Sooners' secondary has made life hard for opposing quarterbacks. They rank 19th in Passing Success Rate Allowed, which stems from ranking 17th in opponent completion percentage and 34th in yards per pass allowed.

While the Horned Frogs only run the ball about 44% of the time, they may be forced torun even less against an Oklahoma defense that has the edge in the trenches. The Sooners outrank TCU, 10 to 36, in Line Yards, meaning the Frogs won't get much push against a defense that's already top-50 in yards per rush allowed.

Oklahoma Sooners

When you look at the Sooners offensively, there's a big question mark coming into this matchup. The health of starting quarterback Dillon Gabriel is unknown, but there are some reports that say he'll be available for this matchup.

Gabriel being active will be bad news for the Horned Frogs defense, as the senior quarterback in the midst of the best season of his collegiate career. He comes into this matchup with a sparkling 27:5 touchdown-to-interception ratio, all while ranking in the top 10 in the nation in completion percentage and yards per pass.

He should be able to find plenty of success through the air, as TCU ranks 66th in opponent completion percentage and 79th in yards per pass allowed. The Frogs also don't generate much pressure and may not get much here, as the Sooners' line has done an excellent job of protecting Gabriel.

Speaking of the big boys up front, they will also spur the rushing attack. We've seen TCU get gashed on the ground, and it could happen again against a Sooners unit that ranks 26th in Rushing Success Rate.

Betting Pick & Prediction

This line has moved toward TCU when Gabriel's status was in doubt. However, with the signal-caller likely to play, it's time to buy back. The Sooners should be able to move the ball with regularity against the Horned Frogs.

On the other side of the ball, TCU may struggle to find answers offensively against this Oklahoma defense. The Sooners' secondary matches up well, and if they can contain the passing game, the Horned Frogs may have some quick drives.

So, back the Sooners to take this one by double-digits.

Pick: Oklahoma -9.5 (Play to 10.5)
