I'm going with the home 'dog here.
The Blue Hens found their quarterback in Nick Minicucci. He looked great against Colorado, as he threw for over 300 yards, was efficient and showed that he's a willing runner.
If they hadn't missed a chip shot field goal in the fourth quarter, they would've covered that game against the Buffs.
That's a promising sign moving forward.
Defensively, through two games, this is exactly the defense I thought Delaware was going to have. The Blue Hens were top-five in defensive continuity in terms of returning production year over year, and that's showing up on film.
They're 23rd in havoc and 70th in coverage. They're certainly a top-half Conference USA defense, and they should be able to limit the Huskies' offense here.
Speaking of the Huskies, they're coming off a massive and emotional letdown. Their win expectancy was 96.7% with 3:19 remaining on the road at the Carrier Dome against Syracuse, and they ended up allowing the Orange to walk the ball down the field and score.
They went to overtime and UConn had two shots from the four-yard line to score and failed.
Right after something like that, this is a spot where I want to take the 'dog with the points.
