2024 NFL Schedule Release: Everything We Know for Week 1 and Beyond article feature image

The NFL schedule will officially release this week, but drips and drabs of information about the games we'll see this fall have made their way out.

There have been multiple reports about some of the high-profile the games taking place during Weeks 1 and 2. We'll be monitoring an updating every development for the 2024 NFL schedule as it gets released this week.

Here's everything you need to know.

Netflix Will Air Christmas Day Games

Netflix has announced that it will air the NFL's two marquee Christmas Day games in 2024 and at least one holiday game in 2025 and 2026.

The NFL Games We Already Know

NFL Season Opener: Ravens vs. Chiefs, Sept. 5

The Ravens and Chiefs will meet on the first Thursday night of September for the NFL season opener in a rematch of the AFC Championship game. The reigning champions are 3-point favorites at home in that matchup and look snap a two-year streak of Super Bowl winners losing in Week 1 the following season.

The NFL will take its international game to Sao Paolo Brazil for a Friday night matchup between the Packers and Eagles in Week 1 in a game that will stream exclusively on Peacock. The Eagles opened as slight 1.5-point favorites over the Packers in the first Friday game of the NFL's opening weekend since 1970.

America's Game of the Week: Cowboys vs. Browns, Sept. 8

The Browns will open their season with a home game against the Cowboys in Week 1. It will be the first game in the broadcast booth for Tom Brady who will join FOX play-by-play announcer Kevin Burkhardt. The Cowboys opened as 1.5-point road favorites over the Browns in the game.
