The DraftKings promo code requires no code to be entered when you sign up with their $200 welcome offer. New customers who register today and bet $5 on Celtics vs. Pistons at 3 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock (or any game) collect $200 in bonus bets over 21 days. Additionally, three months of NBA League Pass come your way with one of the most rewarding NBA betting promos on the market.
I cover sportsbook promo codes for Action Network, which means I redeemed this DraftKings sign-up bonus to verify its legitimacy. Our DraftKings promo code is a must-have for fans excited about NBA Opening Day. Tap the module below to capitalize on it, or read on to learn more about how DraftKings bonus bets work and a Celtics vs. Pistons prediction to tail.
DraftKings Promo Code Details at a Glance
This table lays out the DraftKings welcome bonus in one place so nothing is left uncertain:

| Bonus bets | $200, distributed as eight $25 bet over 21 days |
| Bonus extra | Three months of NBA League Pass |

How the DraftKings Sign-Up Bonus Pays Out
DraftKings splits the $200 into eight $25 bonus bets and releases them on a set schedule:
| When | You Get |
|---|---|
| First bet settles | Two $25 bonus bets |
| Day 7 | Two $25 bonus bets |
| Day 14 | Two $25 bonus bets |
| Day 21 | Two $25 bonus bets |
Each set of bonus bets expire seven days after DraftKings issues it. No matter whether your first bet wins or loses, it settling is what triggers the $200 bonus.
How to Claim the DraftKings Promo Code in Five Steps
Follow these steps in order as Action Network colleague Alan Walsh and I did when this offer launched to register today, Oct. 20, 2026:
- Download the DraftKings Sportsbook app using our link
- Register with your legal name, address, and birth date.
- Deposit at least $5 into your online sportsbook account.
- Bet $5 or more in cash at odds of -500 or longer. Celtics vs. Pistons or any NBA Opening Day matchup on the board qualifies.
- Watch your email for the NBA League Pass code, which arrives within 72 hours. Redeem it on NBA.com.
Keep these terms in mind once you harness the DraftKings promo code:
- Bonus bets carry no cash value. A winning bonus bet pays your profit but not your stake.
- A cashed out or voided first bet voids the offer. Let your first bet settle. to net the bonus
- Claim bonus bets on day seven, 14, and 21 inside the app. Unclaimed bonus bets disappear.
- NBA League Pass requires an NBA.com account. The redemption window closes Dec. 19.
How I Suggest Using DraftKings Bonus Bets
Bonus bets lose value when they expire, so a plan matters. Here is how I would use bonus bets if I were to sign up today:
- Place the $5 first bet on a market you already understand. Opening Day offers three games, so pick the one you know best.
- Lean towards betting on underdogs with bonus bets. DraftKings removes the stake from winnings, so longer odds pay more profit.
- Use NBA League Pass to scout the games you wish to bet. The DraftKings sign-up bonus gives you the bets, and League Pass gives you the film.
I also encourage you to use this odds calculator and parlay calculator before submitting any bets today to get a snapshot of your potential winnings.
Celtics vs. Pistons Prediction on DraftKings
Tipoff comes at 3 p.m. ET from Little Caesars Arena on NBC. DraftKings NBA odds lists Boston as the slight road favorite as they begin a new era without Jaylen Brown, and with Paul George alongside Jayson Tatum.
My Celtics vs. Pistons prediction is Celtics moneyline (-115). Here is why:
- Front court edge: Mitchell Robinson and Neemias Queta give Boston two elite defensive centers to compete against Jalen Duren.
- Tatum as the alpha: Jayson Tatum runs the offense as the clear number one option, and Boston arrives unbeaten in four preseason games.
- Detroit pushes back: The Pistons beat Boston three times in four tries last season and finished second in the league in net rating. I respect that, so I skip the spread and take the Boston moneyline instead.
NBA Opening Day Odds & Preview
DraftKings posts lines for the 76ers vs. Knicks and Thunder vs. Spurs games as well (both games are on NBC and Peacock). Here is a quick look at the spread and totals markets, along with a short preview for each game:
| Game | Tip (ET) | Spread | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| 76ers at Knicks | 7 p.m. | Knicks -4.5 | 232.5 |
| Thunder at Spurs | 9:30 p.m. | Spurs -2.5 | 231.5 |
- 76ers at Knicks: The champion Knicks raise their banner against a Philadelphia core of LeBron James, Jaylen Brown, Tyrese Maxey, and Joel Embiid. New York swept Philadelphia in the second round last season. The Knicks moneyline sits at -179.
- Thunder at Spurs: San Antonio knocked Oklahoma City out in seven games in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder are the underdogs with a moneyline price of +105 tonight.
