Fanatics Sportsbook's Fair Play policy continues to pay off for bettors.

With the NBA Playoffs creeping toward the Finals, Fanatics has paid out more than $897,000 over the last two weeks to those who bet on a player who ended up leaving the game in the first half due to injury and didn't return. That raised Fanatics' payout to over $11 million this year and more than $44 million all-time.

In that same two-week span, there were 28 Fair Play-eligible exits with over 48,000 wagers qualifying for the Fair Play payouts.

Fanatics Fair Play states that if a player exits a game in the first or second quarter due to injury and is ruled out for the remainder of the game, all straight prop bets on that player are refunded. Parlays are also protected, with the injured player’s bet removed entirely.

The biggest moment for bettors came in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs on May 20.

Despite OKC's 122-113 victory to tie the series 1-1, guard Jalen Williams — who had already missed six playoff games due to injury — left the contest in the first half with a recurring hamstring issue.

That marked the highest-cost exit of the last two weeks, adding up to about $843,000.

That injury — and many more — have shown why Fanatics Fair Play has been such a valuable resource for bettors. With two more series left to go in the playoffs, it could end up being a critical policy for many.
