Dodgers vs. Braves Prediction (NLDS Game 3)
The Dodgers vs. Braves series shifts to Atlanta for Game 3, with the Braves hosting at Truist Park Tuesday at 6 p.m. ET on FS1, tied 1-1 after Atlanta's Game 2 win. Chris Sale takes the mound for the Braves, carrying a 1.96 ERA over his final 24 regular-season starts. Michael Harris II paces an Atlanta lineup stacked with left-handed bats, batting .400 through this year's MLB Postseason. Los Angeles counters with Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who owns a 2.53 ERA this season but managed just two runs of support in Game 2.
| Market | Line |
|---|---|
| Moneyline | Dodgers -105, Braves -115 |
| Run Line | Dodgers -1.5 (+160), Braves +1.5 (-200) |
| Total | 6.5 (Over -115, Under -105) |
Pick: Braves ML (-115). Atlanta's left-handed-heavy lineup draws a platoon edge against Yamamoto, and Sale on full rest in front of a home crowd tips the edge toward the Braves.
Brewers vs. Padres Prediction (NLDS Game 3)
The Brewers vs. Padres matchup moves to Petco Park for Game 3, with San Diego facing elimination Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. ET on FS1. Nick Pivetta takes the mound for San Diego, carrying a 2.86 ERA through eight starts this season. Milwaukee turns to Dustin May, who posts a 4.70 ERA and ranks in the bottom half of the league in exit velocity and hard-hit rate allowed. The current Padres roster owns a .432 expected slugging percentage against May across 167 career plate appearances.
| Market | Line |
|---|---|
| Moneyline | Brewers +115, Padres -140 |
| Run Line | Brewers +1.5 (-200), Padres -1.5 (+160) |
| Total | 7.5 (Over +100, Under -120) |
Pick: Padres ML (-140). San Diego gets the pitching matchup edge with Pivetta on the mound, and the Padres return home after posting a 51-30 record at Petco Park this season.
