The Dragon Link stays lucky in The Constitution State.
A visit to Mohegan Sun Casino with her sister turned into a million-dollar night for a woman from Lake Peekskill, New York.
Ady R. won $1,025,913.22 while playing a Dragon Link slot machine at the Uncasville, Connecticut, casino. The jackpot was one of two big payouts at Mohegan Sun, but Ady's was the biggest prize of the night.
On top of that, the progressive jackpot machine also paid out a $5 million win in Las Vegas. But Mohegan has become known for its big wins and life-changing jackpots over the years.
A Hudson Valley Visitor Lands the Grand Jackpot
Ady R. lives in Lake Peekskill, a small hamlet in the Town of Putnam Valley in New York’s Hudson Valley. She was visiting the casino with her sister when she hit the seven-figure jackpot.
Photos released after the win show the two women standing with a large ceremonial check in front of the Dragon Link machine. The casino even posted one on its X account. The check lists the exact prize as $1,025,913.22 and identifies the recipient by the initials “A.G.R.”
The post's description reads: "Join us in congratulating our two lucky winners that hit this HUGE $1,025,913.22 jackpot on one of our Dragon Link machines!'
Although the jackpot occurred on October 15, the ceremonial check is dated October 16, 2026. And it wasn't that long ago that we witnessed a man hit a massive jackpot on a Dragon Link machine in Tampa, Florida.
Some reports describe the sisters together as the winners. The casino’s primary identification, however, credits Ady R. with the jackpot. No public details explain whether or how the sisters will share the money.
How the Dragon Link Bonus Triggered the Win
The winning game, Dragon Link from Aristocrat Gaming, features a Hold & Spin bonus that gives players extra chances to build a prize.
During the bonus, qualifying symbols lock into place while the remaining positions stay available for additional symbols. In this winning round, every position filled with orbs and prize symbols, triggering the Grand Jackpot.
That completed bonus screen produced Ady R.’s payout of more than $1 million.
The amount she wagered before hitting the Dragon Link jackpot has not been included in the information released about her win.
Another Major Mohegan Sun Jackpot Hit Hours Earlier
Ady's win was not the only major slot payout at Mohegan Sun Casino that day.
Just hours earlier, a Connecticut guest won $824,536 on a Wheel of Fortune Triple Spin Extreme machine. That jackpot came on a $10 bet.
Together, the two October 15 slot jackpots totaled more than $1.85 million.
The wins came from different games and prize features, but no one can deny that a casino visit with by Ady and her sister ended with a $1,025,913.22 prize—and a photo marking a memorable night at Mohegan Sun.
