An Ocala, Florida, man won a $1,305,986 progressive jackpot at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa on Sunday, August 2.
The guest hit the jackpot while playing an Aristocrat Gaming Dragon Link Genghis Khan slot machine. According to the casino, he placed a $50 wager on a $2 denomination machine before landing the grand jackpot.
The casino did not publicly identify the winner. But its social media team posted a couple of pictures on its X Account.
The payout is the sixth Dragon Link jackpot worth more than $1 million awarded at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in 2026. The property has continued to record major wins on the popular linked progressive slot series throughout the year.
The biggest Dragon Link win of the year, so far, came at Aria —$2.3 million. Last year, the Hard Rock in Tampa saw a Dragon Link jackpot surpass $2 million.
Sixth Million-Dollar Dragon Link Win
The Ocala player’s jackpot follows five other seven-figure Dragon Link payouts at the Tampa casino in 2026.
The previous five wins were confirmed in the casino’s announcement about the latest jackpot.
The August payout was not the largest Dragon Link jackpot awarded at the property this year. That distinction remains with the $1.778 million Panda Magic win from February 10.
A year ago, a man won over 300 jackpots at Seminole Hard Rock.
How Dragon Link Jackpots Work
Dragon Link is a land-based progressive slot series from Aristocrat Gaming. Its games feature a Hold & Spin bonus round and multiple themes, including Genghis Khan, Panda Magic, Happy and Prosperous, Autumn Moon and Golden Century. Aristocrat describes the series as combining Hold & Spin gameplay with bonus features and progressive jackpot opportunities.
On many Dragon Link configurations, the Hold & Spin feature begins when players land six or more special orb or fireball symbols. Those symbols lock in place while the remaining positions respin.
Players typically receive three respins. Each time another qualifying orb lands, the counter resets to three. The feature ends when the player records three consecutive respins without adding another orb or fills all available positions.
The locked symbols can display cash values or one of four jackpot levels:

- Grand

Seminole Hard Rock Tampa also introduced a new $2 Million Dragon Link experience in its High Limit Slots area in July 2026. The installation features a higher progressive jackpot starting point than the property’s previous million-dollar Dragon Link versions.
For now, the identity of the latest winner remains unknown. His $1,305,986 payout ranks among the largest jackpots awarded at the property this year and represents the sixth Dragon Link win above $1 million at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa in 2026.
