2024 Super Bowl Pick & Prediction: Target This Deebo Samuel Prop

Kyle Shanahan is one of the best head coaches at designing plays to get the ball in his superstars’ hands. We’ve seen the production that Christian McCaffrey has produced over the season, but when healthy, Samuel is more than capable of putting up video game numbers.

The 49ers are going to leave it all out on the field, and Samuel will be key every which way. Instead of Elijah Mitchell spelling McCaffrey, it’ll likely be the do-it-all gadget receiver Samuel. He’s carried the ball 40 times this season and will likely see an uptick in usage yet again here in the Super Bowl.

Perhaps there is no receiver more explosive than Samuel, who is a yards-after-catch machine. Among all receivers with at least 20 targets, he is No. 1 in the NFL in YAC (8.7).

Samuel can line up all over the field. Whether it’s on the outside, in the slot or out of the backfield, Shanahan will find creative ways to get Samuel the ball. Now that he’s fully healthy, it’s all systems go.

I’m expecting at least double-digit touches for Samuel on Sunday and would not be shocked to see him lead the Super Bowl in rushing + receiving yards.
