Projections and the market appear to be in agreement, at least for now.
For what it’s worth, Koerner’s projected over/under comes out to roughly 49.6 points when crunching team totals for both the Chiefs and Bengals.
It’s been a budding rivalry with Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes leading Cincinnati and Kansas City, respectively.
The Chiefs got the better of the Bengals in the most-recent meeting, beating them — and covering (-2) — by three at Arrowhead in the AFC title game.
The Chiefs, off a Super Bowl win, are the favorites to repeat at DraftKings (+600).
The Bengals, meanwhile, have the fifth-shortest odds (+1100), behind the Chiefs, Eagles, Bills and 49ers.
Cincinnati was the third-best bet against the spread last year, going 13-6 ATS (68.4%)
