It's almost time to kick off Week 2 with a banger between the Los Angeles Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Mecole Hardman
ATD +260

Hardman played only 56% of snaps last week, which was third among Chiefs WRs, but he was heavily involved in the red zone. He had three targets inside the 20-yard line, two of which were inside the 10-yard line. Hardman also caught a TD against the Chargers at home last season.

Hardman's odds last week were also +260. As long as it's over +250, I'm going to keep taking it.

Jody Fortson
ATD +650

I wasn’t planning on betting a fourth ATD scorer, but Fortson’s odds are at +650 at bet365 compared to +370 at FanDuel and +500 at DraftKings.

The Chargers struggled against tight ends last season, and Noah Gray is a popular alternative. I'd rather put 0.5 units on Fortson, who caught a touchdown in Week 1 and two TDs in preseason, than Gray or Kelce to get two-plus TDs.

Josh Palmer
ATD +225

Keenan Allen is out of this game. In two games last season when Allen or Mike Williams didn't play, Palmer caught a touchdown in each.

Palmer only had four targets in Week 1, but he was second in snaps played and routes run among all Chargers WRs.

Justin Herbert is projected to throw at least two touchdowns in this game, as over 1.5 passing TDs is -220! I think Palmer gets one of them.

This is a great example of why locking bets in early in the week is important. We knew Allen was doubtful to suit up after getting injured on Sunday and only having until Thursday to recover. I was able to get a much better number on Palmer earlier in the week, although I'd still play him here.

With the expected Keenan Allen inactive news, Palmer Anytime TD odds falls to +225 instantly at Bet365.

Justin Herbert
ATD +450

In four career games against the Chiefs, Herbert has a rushing touchdown in three of them.

Kyler Murray didn't find the end zone last week against the Chiefs, but Kansas City allowed the most rushing TDs to opposing quarterbacks last season.

Herbert was +350 last week, so I'll take the extra value at +450.
