Why Falcons vs. Packers Stands Out
Several storylines make this game harder to price than most Week 3 matchups:
- A quarterback with no 2026 tape. Penix Jr. returns from the torn ACL that ended his 2025 season. Without him, the Falcons have scored only 16 points in two games, including a 34-3 loss to Carolina.
- A thinner Falcons secondary. Starting cornerback A.J. Terrell Jr. will miss at least four games. A groin injury sent him to injured reserve this week.
- Two proven producers. Running back Bijan Robinson has been Atlanta's steadiest weapon so far, with 155 rushing yards on 37 carries. For Green Bay, Jordan Love has four touchdown passes, one interception and 532 yards through the air.
- A Packers team with holes. Green Bay needed overtime to beat the Jets and end a six-game losing streak. Right tackle Zach Bako-Bewele is out for the season, and receiver Jayden Reed is dealing with a neck injury. On the next-man-up situation, Love said, "I don't change my expectations at all."
- Home-opener history. The Packers have won every home opener since 2013, and Thursday's is the 2026 edition at Lambeau.
- Scoring history. Seven of the last 10 games between these teams finished over the total.
More Than Just the Winner
The moneyline is the headline, but Polymarket lists many other markets on the same game:
- Spread: Packers -5.5 is the main line, with both sides priced close to even.
- Total: the main line is 43.5 points, with the Under priced slightly ahead.
- Other markets: first-half lines, team totals, exact margin, touchdown markets and player props such as receiving yards.
Nearly all the volume sits in the moneyline, spread and total, and the spread has drawn the most, ahead of the moneyline. Some smaller markets are thin, so check the volume before you trade. A price that few people have tested says little, so treat those lines with extra caution.
Combos to Watch Before Kickoff
Combos bundle two markets into one trade. Both legs have to hit for the combo to pay, and the multiplier shows the potential payout. Here are five on the board:

- Packers moneyline + Over 43.5 ("Lambeau sky high"): 2.69x
- Packers -7.5 + Over 46.5 ("Frozen fireworks"): 4.74x
- Falcons +6.5 + Over 46.5 ("Wings over"): 4.55x
- Falcons moneyline + Over 43.5 ("Falcons fly high"): 7.09x
The first two combos pay almost the same, which shows the market sees the Over and the Under as close to equal. The Falcons moneyline combo pays the most because it needs both an Atlanta upset and a higher-scoring game.
If you believe Penix gives Atlanta a real offense, the Falcons side and the Over are the clearest ways to act on it. If you think Atlanta's 16 points in two games reflect more than quarterback play, a Packers combo with the Under matches that view. Both teams are on a short week, which leaves little time for injured players to recover. Either way, everything settles Thursday night, so the window to trade is short.
