The Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers square off in São Paolo, Brazil in the second game of NFL Week 1 on Friday, Sept. 5.

For the purposes of this article, I'm digging into Chiefs vs Chargers anytime touchdown scorer props. These teams, of course, feature a number of talented players — that include the likes of Travis Kelce, Isiah Pacheco, Omarion Hampton, Ladd McConkey, and more — who are always a threat to score a touchdown.

Find my Chiefs-Chargers anytime touchdown picks for Friday night below.

Chiefs vs Chargers Anytime Touchdown Preview, Picks

Xavier Worthy Anytime Touchdown (+130)

We’re off to a chalky start!

Yet, I truly do think Xavier Worthy is the guy we want here.

Nobody on the Chiefs has higher touchdown upside than Worthy; he had 17 red-zone targets last year, along with six red-zone carries.

Utilized all over the field, he’s the perfect Swiss Army Knife for the Chiefs.

Not only that, he demolished zone defense last season, and it just so happens that the Chargers played zone at a top-five rate in 2024.

There won’t be Rashee Rice for the first six games and Travis Kelce continues to inch closer to retirement. If Worthy can just keep his feet in bounds, I love for him to score in the opener.

Quentin Johnston Anytime Touchdown (+360)

Hold your nose for this one, because I know this is a gross pick.

Regardless, those odds are too hard to ignore.

Quentin Johnston is projected to play close to 80% of snaps. Not only that, he led the Chargers in touchdown catches as well as red-zone targets (11) last season.

The Chiefs’ pass defense seemed to struggle down the stretch in 2024, allowing 19 touchdowns to wide receivers, which tied for 26th.

One of those touchdowns happened to be to Johnston, and for what it’s worth, he was only listed at +200 that game.

So, at +360? I’ll take my chances.

The value is great for him to find the endzone.
