Only one team has given up fewer passing yards per game than the Chargers, and with Jalen Hurts not known as a true pocket passer, you’d think we’d swerve away from the 27-year-old quarterback, but this is the time to back him.

It feels like there’s been a real effort to put the ball in Hurts' hands this season, especially with Philly's ground game struggling.

Hurts has had 230 and 289 passing yards over the past two weeks and has had 188 or more passing yards in 50% of his games this season and five of his past eight, with the team pivoting towards the pass.

Pick: Jalen Hurts Over 187.5 Passing Yards (-114; FanDuel)

Saquon Barkley Under 17.5 Rushing Attempts (-136)

We’re taking the under on Saquon Barkley’s rushing attempts here, for much the same reason we’re backing Hurts to have a big Monday with his arm.

We saw Barkley have 18 or more rushing attempts in the first four games of his season, but he’s had 18 or more carries in just three of the eight games after that.

The Eagles’ offensive line isn’t run blocking effectively right now, and we’ve only seen Barkley finish with over four yards per carry once in the past month, and only five times in 12 games this season.

There’s only so much he can do, regardless of his talent, if the line isn’t creating holes.

Barkley had just 23 carries in the past two weeks combined and could have 17 or fewer carries on MNF.

Pick: Saquon Barkley Under 17.5 Rushing Attempts (-136; FanDuel)

AJ Brown Anytime Touchdown (+190)

Another beneficiary of the Eagles’ pivot to the pass has been AJ Brown, who was throwing tantrums around his lack of work in the passing game just weeks ago.

He’s had double-digit targets in the past three weeks and rewarded the team with three touchdowns in that span.

With the running game struggling, we’re seeing more go through the air, and Brown is getting a bulk of the high-value passes.

He’s had 11 red-zone targets all season, but in the past three weeks alone, he’s had six, which is double that of every other player on the roster combined during that span.

Pick: AJ Brown Anytime Touchdown (+190; bet365)

Kimani Vidal Anytime Touchdown (+333)

With Omarion Hampton looking set to return this week, we’ve seen Chargers RB Kimani Vidal’s odds to score fall back to what looks like a big number.

As of Sunday afternoon, it was still unclear whether Hampton would definitely be playing on Monday Night Football. However, you’d have to think that if he returns, he will be on a snap count.

Vidal has found the end zone four times since taking over as the team’s lead back with Hampton and Najee Harris sidelined, but has found his groove in recent weeks, with two touchdowns in his past three games.

Vidal isn’t an elite running back, although he’s averaged 4.5 yards per carry and has shown he can handle a big workload.

If Hampton isn’t 100%, then Vidal is still going to get a lot of carries and red-zone looks.

Pick: Kimani Vidal Anytime Touchdown (+333; BetMGM)
