Falcons vs Ravens Preview

The Baltimore Ravens (3-1) are in a tough spot on the road without Lamar Jackson, facing an Atlanta Falcons (2-2) team that is coming off back-to-back blowouts wins over the Green Bay Packers and New Orleans Saints.

With Tyler Huntley starting, it's going to be tough for Baltimore to get the win on the road, especially with how well Atlanta is playing.

I don't want to lay -3.5 with Atlanta here since it's above the key number of three, so we'll take the Falcons moneyline to start the parlay. This is a bet on Atlanta's edge at quarterback with Michael Penix Jr. along with home-field advantage.

I'll continue my Same Game Parlay with Under 43.5.

With Huntley under center, we can expect more rushing volume for Derrick Henry, which could slow the game down and help keep it at a lower scoreline. The Falcons have been effective at stopping the run so far this year, ranking first in Rush EPA.

The Falcons can stack the box and slow down Henry given how well they've defended the run. We're getting above the key number of 43 here, so a common scoreline of 23-20 will cash this Under.

To finish it off, I'll go Kyle Pitts Under 2.5 Receptions.

Pitts' route participation fell to a season-low 38.1% in Week 4. This came after he ran routes on 76.9%, 43.6%, and 64.0% of dropbacks. That kind of downward trend in usage is worth riding with here.

It also helps that the Ravens have allowed only 15 receptions to tight ends this year. When you combine the lack of usage with the tough matchup, it's easy to see why Under 2.5 receptions is a bit juiced at -134.

In short, we're betting on a low-scoring game with a run-heavy game script, resulting in a close win for the Falcons on Sunday Night Football.
