Ravens vs Falcons Spread Prediction
By Billy Ward
The big story for Sunday Night Football is the absence of Lamar Jackson, which swung the spread by more than 7 points relative to the early lines for this game that came out before Jackson’s injury.
On the one hand, that feels like slightly too large of a correction, given the rest of the talent in Baltimore.
However, the other factor is Atlanta’s revival since Michael Penix Jr. returned to the lineup. The Falcons are 2-0 with Penix, and they have scored 80 points in those two games with Bijan Robinson going off in each contest.
The Falcons defense is also impressive, with a top-10 overall DVOA. Crucially, they’re much better against the run (3rd) than pass (10th) which most weeks is arguably a negative – but not against a Ravens team that would love to rely on the run game without Jackson.
The Ravens' offensive line is also banged up, which only furthers the problem against a tough Atlanta defensive front.
Baltimore’s defense is tough too, but it is essentially the inverse of Atlanta, ranking higher against the pass (9th) than rush (18th). That’s typically a good thing, but not against a run-heavy Atlanta team.
With some books still offering the Falcons at -3, I’m willing to lay the points. They’re also an interesting live betting team should they get a lead: with Baltimore playing with a backup QB and the Falcons an elite run team, it’s hard to see the Ravens mounting a comeback should they fall behind.
Pick: Falcons -3 (-118)
Ravens vs Falcons Over/Under Pick
In the two games Tyler Huntley started at quarterback for the Ravens in 2025, the team combined for 41 total points.
However, prior to last season, in Huntley’s previous 10 starts, Baltimore scored more than 17 points only once. This matchup with the Falcons defense is a difficult task for any quarterback to navigate — Atlanta has generated a league-leading 46% pressure rate under defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich.
Huntley entered the game last Sunday in relief of Lamar Jackson — the Ravens punted four times and failed to score any points in five possessions. Their offensive line is in turmoil and is undoubtedly a work in progress at this point.
You can expect to see a heavy dose of Derrick Henry as offensive coordinator Declan Doyle will look to limit the scenarios in which Huntley faces pressure. This is unlikely to result in much production as Henry has been uncharacteristically inefficient as he has averaged just 3.3 yards per carry over the Ravens' last two games
Baltimore has historically found a way to keep these types of games competitive by slowing down the pace of the game and playing sound defense. Huntley’s starts seemingly end in a 17-10 or 16-13 type game more often than not.
It will not be easy limiting Bijan Robinson and the play-action passing attack of the Falcons between the 20’s, but head coach Jesse Minter has been excellent managing his defense in the red zone. Minter’s defenses ranks second in the NFL in EPA/play allowed inside the 20 yard line in his 40 career games as a playcaller.
This total sits just below the key number of 44 at 43.5 across all markets, thus, I am recommending to stay patient and see if a 44 pops at any book.
However, I am willing to play this under down to 43.
Pick: Under 43.5 (-106); bet to Under 43
Derrick Henry Receiving Props
By Sean Koerner
There were rumors in training camp that Derrick Henry would be more involved in the passing game this season. That's the kind of noise I usually steer clear of — but Henry's actually topped 4.5 receiving yards in three games this season.
He's getting way more designed screen passes than he normally does and the Ravens enter this game as 3-point underdogs so it's possible he's involved in a trailing game script. The Falcons are also stout against the run, so utilizing Henry in the passing game could be something the Ravens explore.
I think there's a decent chance Henry gets at least two receptions in this game and I like attacking his yards tonight.
Pick: Derrick Henry Over 4.5 Receiving Yards (-113)
Drake London Receiving Yards Prop
By Sam Farley
The strong chemistry between Michael Penix Jr. and Drake London has been on display over the last two games.
London's had 16 targets in those pair of games and has racked up 290 yards. What really stands out is the volume — in the win over the Saints, he had a 30% target share and 43% of the Falcons' total receiving yards.
London has cleared 80.5 receiving yards in 9-of-16 games with Penix at quarterback — he crossed 100 receiving yards in eight of those games.
Pick: Drake London Over 80.5 Receiving Yards (-111)
