Jaguars vs Rams Preview, Parlay Picks

Matthew Stafford Over 21.5 Pass Completions

The Rams throw the ball at the ninth-highest rate in the NFL, and quarterback Matthew Stafford led an explosive attack this season.

However, they are going to be without their top pass catcher, Puka Nacua, this week. Although his absence will not deter the Rams from their scheme.

Stafford should continue his efficiency through the air as the Jags are 31st in sack rate and 20th in yards per pass. Throwing the ball with volume is the best way to attack this Jacksonville defense.

We've seen the likes of Patrick Mahomes, Mac Jones and CJ Stroud all have very efficient days.

The Rams' high-volume attack should allow Stafford to cruise over this number while getting multiple receivers involved.

The next man up in Nacua's absence is Jordan Whittington.

Whittington is second in targets amongst the team's wide receivers, and his 79 percent catch rate should allow him to shine this week in an expanded role.

The Jaguars are 25th in receptions allowed to opposing wide receivers.

We are compounding on the Rams' passing volume highlighted above, as there will be plenty of targets to be absorbed this week with Nacua out.

Tyler Higbee Anytime Touchdown

Despite having Kyren Williams, the Rams average nearly two passing touchdowns per game, and another pass catcher in line to step up this week in tight end Tyler Higbee.

Higbee is quietly fourth on the team in targets and has seen three red zone targets this season, finding paydirt once.

With coverage keying in DaVante Adams, it's much more likely Higbee sees multiple looks in the red zone, as he's going to be the biggest target, in terms of size, for Stafford near the goal line.

NFL London Game Parlay

  • Matthew Stafford Over 21.5 Pass Completions
  • Jordan Whittington Over 3.5 Receptions
  • Tyler Higbee Anytime Touchdown

Parlay Odds: +875 (bet365)
