Another week, another prime-time under cashing with ease.

It’s been money in the bank all year long and it hit once again in Chicago's 16-13 victory over Carolina as the 29 combined points fell well below the 38.5-point threshold. Prime-time unders are 23-7 on the year, 63-29 dating back to last year and 162-102-3 since 2019.

Unders haven’t just been profitable in prime time. In fact, they are crushing it in general and are 84-52-1 (61.7%) this season, which Evan Abrams notes in his weekly primer is the best mark since 1991. It should come as no surprise that 71% of the bets and 77% of the money was on the under.

Meanwhile, the first-half and second-half unders also hit Thursday nigh. Full-game unders rightfully get most of the attention, but each half has also fared well this season.

The first-half line was set at 19.5, and it hit by the skin of it’s teeth. The Bears settled for a 39-yard field goal before time ran out, giving the Panthers a 10-9 lead heading into halftime. First-half night game unders are now 86-65-3 dating back to 2021 and 25-17-1 on Thursday Night Football.

Meanwhile, Carolina and Chicago combined for just 10 points after half, falling well short of the 18.5-point line. Second-half unders are now 83-53-1 on the year.
