The 49ers come into this matchup extremely shorthanded on a short week.
San Francisco will be without starting quarterback Brock Purdy and starting wide receivers Juan Jennings and Ricky Persall. Additionally, George Kittle and Brandon Aiyuk will remain out with injuries.
Los Angeles has been strong on the defensive side of the football, ranking 10th in points allowed per game (20.3).
While offense will be a problem, San Francisco should have a strong game plan to slow down the Rams offense. Robert Saleh's defense ranks seventh in the NFL, holding opponents to 18.8 points per game.
