On the surface the Golden Knights have struggled lately being outscored 28-20 in their last 10 games, but the underlying numbers are much better. They've had a very strong 58% Corsi in that time. Their issue has been goaltending and finishing. With them only shooting 6.9%, but their opponents shooting 13.7%. This is unsustainable. In their last 10 games the Oilers have had a much worse Corsi at 47.3%, and have been outscored by 6 goals. They are without Leon Draisaitl while Vegas is as healthy as it gets. Also when it comes to betting on Vegas games there is something you always have to take into account. Year after year after year they seem to lead the league in fewest penalties taken and this year it is no different. Against some teams this is not that important, but for the Oilers this is very important. The Oilers lead the league in powerplay%, while being very mediocre at 5v5 so if they get fewer powerplay chances it is a big deal.
