Dream vs. Valkyries Preview
Golden State leads the WNBA Finals 1-0 after a 68-64 Game 1 win on Saturday. It was an ugly, rock-paper-scissors type of game in which both teams combined to shoot just 45/141 from the field and 11/58 from three.
The Valkyries, for all the good they've been defensively this year, have not defended the three-point line that well, ranking 15th in the league in adjusted 3PA allowed.
Atlanta ranks fifth in that category, so I'd expect the three-point line to start favoring Atlanta a little more as the series goes on.

Dream vs. Valkyries Prediction
My T Shoe Index (TSI) projects Golden State -1.5 in this game, so being able to get a full basket plus the hook with the Dream here is where I'm going to go for my best bet.
I think Atlanta will control the boards better in Game 2, as they led the league in offensive rebound %, so in addition to some three-point regression, they'll be able to create a few easy scoring opportunities on the offensive glass.
They also outshot the Valkyries from the free-throw line in Game 1, which will be huge in another game that'll likely be decided by a basket.
The Dream led by five heading into the fourth quarter last game and just couldn't get good looks to fall, going 2-19 from the field and 0-7 from three. I don't see that happening two games in a row.
This game will come down to their fourth-quarter execution, which can't be any worse than it was in Game 1, and they only lost by four.
Best Bet: Dream +2.5 (-110, BetMGM)
