It's time for a WNBA same-game parlay.

Our Action Network betting analysts have a knack for winning bets, so let’s take some of their +EV bets and put them in a same-game parlay for tonight's WNBA opener between the Indiana Fever and Connecticut Sun.

Each day, we have best bets from our analysts in the WNBA, NBA, NHL and MLB that cover sides, totals and even niche markets like player props.

As recreational bettors, we all like to throw them together occasionally, so let’s do it responsibly and create a fun and low-stakes SGP.

The matchup we’ll use today is Caitlin Clark's WNBA debut in Fever vs. Sun on Tuesday, May 14.

Fever vs Sun Same-Game Parlay

  1. Caitlin Clark Under 21.5 Points
  2. Connecticut Sun -7.5
  3. Alyssa Thomas Under 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Parlay Odds: +425

Caitlin Clark

Under 21.5 Points

The hype for Caitlin Clark is real and justified. She’s making her WNBA debut after a stellar college career at Iowa that saw her finish as the NCAA's all-time leading scorer with back-to-back national championship appearances.

That being said, her points line is set at 21.5 for her first game, and Bryan Fonseca thinks we should pause before assuming Clark will dominate from the opening tip:

“The Connecticut Sun were the best defensive team in the league last season and have been top-two for four straight seasons. I think the Clark scoring market is still inflated and will be until she's properly placed in the 17.5 or so range.”

Connecticut Sun -7.5

The Connecticut Sun may not be the main attraction in tonight’s matchup, but they still boast a squad that made it to the WNBA semifinals last year.

According to Jim Turvey, the Sun's frontcourt for the Sun is the main edge here:

“Back for Connecticut is Brionna Jones, who ranked third in the WNBA in win shares in her last full season in 2022. She's one of the most efficient players in the game, which will be a massive help for Alyssa Thomas, who finished third in MVP voting last season but struggled with efficiency at times.”

Alyssa Thomas

Under 29.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Although she finished third in WNBA MVP voting last season, Jim Turvey also thinks we need to fade Alyssa Thomas and take the under on her points + rebounds + assists line:

“It’s a player prop for Connecticut that's my favorite bet for this game.

"Brionna Jones' return should eat notably into both Thomas' points and rebounds, and per PBP Stats, her assists actually aren’t positively correlated with Jones being back because it’s just less usage overall for Thomas.”
