Texas Hold 'em Poker is the lone option under Casino Games. The in-game settings show a minimum bet of GC 50 and a max bet of GC 500,000.

From Evoplay, this poker game comes with a Wild West theme. To play, we purchased some gold coins for $4.99. We needed to accept the latest Sweepstakes Coins rules. Then we switched the lever at the top right hand of the screen from yellow to green.

First, you’ll need to ante up. Choose from chip denominations at the bottom right. Play with 0.1, 0.5. or 1-chip increments. The win table shows a minimum of 0.10 and a max of 100.00.

We started our hand with 10 of diamonds and a queen of spades. We’d placed an ante for 0.66.

With the choice of Call x2 or Fold, we elected to Call Flop for 1.22. The flop came as 6, 7, Q. Then the turn gave us a 10 for two pairs.

We won the hand, but it’s clear that playing with SCs is much different than using GCs.

So we switched the lever back to GCs.

Then we saw chip denominations of 50, 100, 500, and 1K. A minimum bet of 50 might make more sense to first-time players.

Ante pre-flop and then double-down after the flop. Bet before the turn and river. You may also check on each round after the flop.

Say you win your hand after betting each round. You keep your ante, while the game pays out 1:1 for your pre-flop double-down. The turn and river bets (each the same value as your ante) pay 1:1.

That means with a GC 250 wager, you’d win GC 200—for a total of 450. The ante pays 1:1 only with a straight or higher. A tie with the dealer returns your bets.

We don’t see this game as a viable option for long sessions. High-card, one pair, two pairs, and three of a kind all pay out the same. To get only your ante returned as a bonus for a straight or better hardly seems worthwhile.

A regular video poker game pays 2x for two pairs and 3x for trips. You’d get a max payout of 800x for a royal flush. So, a wager worth 50 would pay 40,000.

Ultimate Texas Hold’em video poker from SG Digital is a top option at regular online casinos. Three-of-a-kind pays 3:1. Like most video poker games, they also offer different multipliers as added incentives.

Texas Hold'em Poker at Pulsz is a good option for entertainment purposes. We recommend being a little more careful, though, when playing for SCs.
