  • The 2020 Charles Schwab Challenge kicks off Thursday morning, and we've got everything you need -- updated odds, outright picks, sleepers and more.
  • Rory McIlroy is the favorite, followed by Jon Rahm and Justin Thomas. But we're looking toward the middle of the betting board for value.
  • Here's everything you need to bet the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial.

Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas will be the center of the sports universe this weekend as the PGA TOUR resumes its 2019-20 season with the Charles Schwab Challenge.

There is a lot to unpack ahead of Thursday. How will players handle the three-month hiatus? Will all the uncertainty help a few longshots contend in a star-studded field? How will a full-field PGA TOUR event look on TV without any fans?

This weekend also signals the return of one of the best sweats in gambling. If you’re lucky enough to have had the pleasure of cashing an outright golf winner, especially a longshot, you know what I’m talking about. Hell, even if you’ve had a player in contention late into Round 4 you know how one bet can transform a regular Sunday afternoon into the ride of a lifetime.

If you’ve yet to experience this patented golf sweat, here’s to hoping this is your week. Perhaps we can help you get to the promised land.

SPECIAL PROMOS FOR GOLF’S RETURN! Bet $1, Win $50 if Rory makes just ONE birdie … Win $50 if ANY PLAYER makes a birdie on Colonial’s first hole … and more!

With so many unknowns it is probably best to avoid paying up for one of the favorites and instead try to find value further down the board. That’s the approach Josh Perry is taking in his weekly betting preview.

Jason Sobel has his eye on a former winner with a big price but also gives his thoughts on one-and-done options, prop bets and DFS strategy at Colonial. Check out Sobel’s betting guide for the return of golf.

Rory, Rahm or Brooks? Jordan, Rickie or JT? The PGA TOUR Live Featured Groups for Round 1 are star-studded and Jason Sobel thinks there’s some decent 3-ball betting opportunities on Thursday. Collin Wilson is also targeting a couple of matchups, including Jordan Spieth vs. Justin Rose.

DraftKings is going to make someone very rich this week as the DFS and betting giant is hosting a millionaire-maker tournament to celebrate the return of golf. Bryan Mears offers his thoughts on a few players who could deliver some high upside in DFS this weekend.
