He ranks in the 19th and 22nd percentile in xERA and xBA, while giving up a ton of hard contact (5th percentile - 52%). Meanwhile, he's generating a decent chase rate, but isn't getting the strikeout (chasing resulting in weak contact). He only holds a 21.9% K-rate this season and has been under this mark in 3 of 5 starts. Both overs were in a solid matchups (NYY and TBR), but NYM is a much tougher matchup. Over L30 vs RHP NYM ranks 26th in K-rate (18.9%). Burnes has seen this roster plenty (a total of 88 PA's) and only holds a 25% K-rate against them, despite having much better swing and miss stuff in seasons past. Looks like a great spot for Burnes to stay under!
