Today, we'll create a custom No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bet by analyzing the performances of two pitchers. This personalized bet can be crafted through sportsbooks such as DraftKings and Barstool.
This NRFI bet is different from a traditional NRFI, as it combines two separate half innings from the first innings of two different games. This approach allows you to have a better edge and tailor the bet to your preferences.
Our first NRFI selection for today showcases the former NL Cy Young winner of the Marlins, Sandy Alcantara.
Alcantara has been exceptional this season, boasting an impressive 16-3 NRFI record, bringing his overall NRFI record to an outstanding 42-9 since 2022.

Our second NRFI selection for today features the promising Red Sox pitcher Brayan Bello.
Bello has shown great proficiency this season, boasting a solid 12-3 NRFI record, which brings his overall NRFI record to an impressive 20-6 since 2022.
To Bello's advantage today, he has limited exposure to the A's hitters, leaving an edge of unfamiliarity on his side.
Furthermore, since July 1, the Oakland A's have struggled in the first inning, managing only six hits in 38 plate appearances, resulting in a .182 batting average.
