After what should go down as the most unusual regular season in Major League Baseball history, the league will now follow with what will probably be the most unusual postseason in history.
But in any case, now that Sunday's games have gone final, we now know the matchups for the new-for-2020 Wild Card Series round.
As a refresher, 16 teams — eight per league — have made the postseason this year, and they'll begin with a round of best-of-3 series. The matchups are that of a standard bracket (1 vs. 8, 2 vs. 7, and so on), and each game will be played in the higher-seeded team's home stadium.
Below are the matchups, along with opening odds from PointsBet.
Be sure to follow along with our MLB coverage in the coming days, as we'll be releasing our own projections for these series, as well as World Series probabilities, futures with value and, of course, daily betting breakdowns once we these games get underway.
