UFC 298 takes place at Honda Center in Anaheim, California. Following Saturday's preliminary card on ESPN+ (6:30 p.m. ET) and ESPN (8 p.m. ET), the main card is available on ESPN+ PPV at 10 p.m. ET (cost: $79.99).
As of fight day on Saturday, UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is a -130 favorite (bet $130 to win $100) over fellow headliner and +110 underdog (bet $110 to win $100) Ilia Topuria. That gives Volkanovski an implied win probability of 56.5%.
The total for the five-round fight is set at 3.5 rounds with -128 odds for the over and +102 for the under.
Topuria actually opened as a fairly substantial +160 underdog at many major sportsbooks earlier this month. However, early UFC 298 betting – including some from yours truly (find me in the Action App) – pounced on the plus-money odds and have pushed the matchup to a near-pick'em as of fight week.
In the UFC 298 co-main event, former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker (-230) is a solid favorite over the always-game Paulo Costa (+190).
