This Saturday at Martinsville Speedway we get a sneaky great day of racing for motorsports fans.

The NASCAR Truck Series gets the day started at 1 p.m. ET, with the NASCAR XFINITY Series completing the doubleheader with a 6 p.m. ET scheduled green flag.

To make Saturday's racing even more incredible, Martinsville is located in the great sports betting state of Virginia, giving those attending plenty of mobile sportsbook options right at the track or even on the ride in (click here to see the latest and greatest Virginia sportsbook offers).

Weather permitting, I will be one of the lucky ones heading to the track for Saturday's doubleheader, and what's a day at Martinsville without a little NASCAR betting action?

In all seriousness, the wager detailed below is not only a fun 30-1 longshot, but it's also a driver I'd be betting whether attending the race or not.

At 30-1 (Caesars Sportsbook), Sam Mayer is a very nice value for two reasons.

First, he has already shown plenty of speed at Martinsville in other series.

And second, Mayer will also be in a very fast car for Saturday's Dead On Tools 250 (6 p.m. ET, NBCSN).

To start, Mayer was very impressive in just his second career Truck Series race back here in 2019, leading the third-most laps while being in the mix for the win before a crash took him out of contention late in the event.

This weekend he'll also have the benefit of climbing into JR Motorsports' No. 8 Chevy, which won the most recent NASCAR XFINTY Series race at Martinsville with Josh Berry behind the wheel in dominant fashion — Berry ran the most fast laps, led the most laps and finished with the best driver rating.

In Mayer we're getting a driver with short-track prowess in one of the fastest cars in the series for the very enticing price of 30-1.

The Bet: Mayer (30-1) to win Saturday's Dead On Tools 250
