The SEC race is heating up, with four teams in very realistic striking distance of becoming the SEC Regular Season Champion. There are also a few teams that have had unexpected hot starts and have started to garner contender consideration.
The team that has looked by far the best is Florida. The Gators are the reigning national champions, and with only two losses in conference play so far, it looks like Todd Golden's squad is ready to take on any SEC challengers.

SEC Regular Season Champion Odds
Just behind Florida are the three-loss teams. Kentucky has been wildly inconsistent throughout the season and struggled to beat top-tier teams early on, but recently defeated both Arkansas and Tennessee and is now sitting near the top of the conference standings.
Texas A&M was the surprise team throughout the early portion of conference play, but the Aggies hadn't played any of the top teams in the conference. Texas A&M lost to both Alabama and Florida last week, losing its position as the team leading the SEC standings.
Arkansas has notable wins against Vanderbilt and Tennessee, but the Razorbacks also lost to Kentucky, Georgia, and Auburn. It's likely that to win the conference, Arkansas will have to beat Florida on the road, which is an extremely tough task.
Out of the other teams near the top of the standings, four-loss Alabama and Tennessee stand out. Both teams entered the season among the top four of the SEC Preseason Media Poll and still have good odds to win the conference, despite slow starts in conference play. Vanderbilt started the season 16-0, but has since lost four games in conference play.
All eight of those teams have a decent chance to win the regular-season conference title, but the SEC is as deep as it has ever been, so they will all have to survive multiple landmines to end up on top.
What is Kalshi?
Different than a traditional sportsbook and available in all 50 states, Kalshi allows users to make predictions across several unique markets, including sports, entertainment, elections and even weather.
Kalshi operates on a contract-based system where users buy "contracts" (priced between 1–99 cents) based on whether they believe a specific event will happen. The price of each contract fluctuates in real time based on market sentiment and like the stock market, traders can sell positions early to lock in profits (or minimize losses).
