Week 4 of the college football season is upon us.

For the eighth straight season on our college football betting podcast, Big Bets on Campus, Collin Wilson and Stuckey pick their two favorite moneyline underdogs for each week's slate.

They cashed a parlay of their two 'dogs last week with Georgia Tech edging Clemson and Vanderbilt dominating South Carolina. Now, they're back for more.

For Week 4 of the season, they rolled with two Group of Five underdogs at home.

We'll get things started Saturday evening down in Kennesaw and finish up with a night game in Greenville. If you're feeling lucky, a parlay of both pups pays out nearly 7-1 at the time of writing.

Let's dive into our college football moneyline underdogs for Week 4.

I’m rolling with Kennesaw State over Arkansas State here.

Full credit to Stuckey for pointing me in that direction with the spot because this is a tough situation for the Red Wolves.

We can’t overlook what Arkansas State’s done this year. The Red Wolves had something to prove against in-state big brother Arkansas for the first time ever, and then nearly took down Iowa State just a week later.

Now, think back to when Wake Forest edged Kennesaw, 10-9, early in the season. At the time, I figured Wake was pretty weak, but it’s actually the opposite. Wake Forest isn’t as bad as most thought. Still, Kennesaw held their its own.

The Owls kept up in the yards-per-play battle and put together five methodical drives against that Deacs defense. That shows they can move the ball and cause some trouble on offense.

I like Kennesaw to pull off the upset against Arkansas State in a good situational spot Saturday.

Stuckey: East Carolina ML +195 vs. BYU

I’m taking East Carolina here. BYU’s heading out east with a true freshman starting at quarterback on the road. Bear Bachmeier has looked solid with three touchdown passes and no picks, but this is a tough place to play, especially for a true freshman.

The Cougars defense looks like it might be due for some regression, as well. This unit had a stellar campaign in 2024, but it might be due for some turnover regression here.

Meanwhile, this East Carolina team has actually been better than I expected so far. This one should be a back-and-forth battle, so I'll take my chances with the Pirates coming out on top.

In addition to ECU, Liberty’s an interesting case, too.

James Madison is coming off a bye week, so I’m curious to see what the Dukes do with their quarterback rotation this time around.

Liberty should be getting some defenders back this week, which could help, but its left tackle situation is worrisome. The starter last week was one of the worst tackles I’ve ever seen. He struggled big time against Bowling Green, and that could be devastating against this JMU front.

It sounds like the original left tackle didn’t practice as recently as Thursday, so there might be some deeper issues going on with Liberty beyond just injuries.

But, all things considered, I’m sticking with East Carolina to get it done.
