Saturday’s Week 1 college football card is loaded with player prop opportunities, and a few of the softest lines of the season may already be on the board.

Here, I've got four player prop bangers across these three games, utilizing odds and lines set by Action PRO:

  • North Texas vs. Indiana (12 p.m. ET)
  • Marshall vs. Penn State (3:30 p.m. ET)
  • Clemson vs. LSU (7:30 p.m. ET)

With early-season uncertainty still baked into the market, Action PRO subscribers have a major edge by leaning on PRO Projections. Expert-driven forecasts cover passing yards, completions, rushing yards, rushing attempts, receptions and receiving yards. If you’re looking to stay ahead all season long, these tools are built for exactly that.

First up is Indiana QB Josh Hoover under 11.5 rushing yards.

Hoover’s name may be attached to a quarterback run total, but PRO is very light here, projecting just 2.82 rushing yards. That makes sense. As a TCU transfer, Hoover profiles as more of a pocket passer than a true rushing threat, and this matchup should allow him to do most of his damage through the air. Against North Texas, Indiana should be able to throw effectively, which reduces the need for designed runs or scramble production. With such a massive gap between the market and the projection, this under stands out immediately.

Next is Marshall running back Jo’Shon Barbie
