I think Temple can win this game on the field.
Evan Simon has been excellent this season, throwing 22 touchdowns to only one interception.
Temple has played excellent football for most of the season. At 5-5, the Owls are thirsty for a win this week, and they’ve been feisty at home this season — they beat UTSA outright and took Navy to the wire.
At the same time, Tulane has looked jerky on the road this season, struggling against inferior opponents.
The pass defense is lousy, ranking outside the top 120 nationally in Pass Success Rate allowed and EPA per Dropback allowed. Simon and Co. will move the ball on Saturday.
On the other side of the rock, Temple’s defense looks much improved under K.C. Keeler.
The Owls are also coming off a bye week. The extra rest and prep time should work wonders in this matchup.
I expect them to compete and potentially win. I’ll take the points and sprinkle the ML for our parlay.
